Welcome to Troop 1013

 

We have been serving scouts in the Splendora and surrounding area for over 30 years!

Troop 1013 is a boy-led troop with monthly campouts and/or activities.

We meet on Mondays from 7pm-8:30pm at First Methodist Church Splendora (26117 FM 2090 East, Splendora, TX 77372)

We are currently chartered by the Humble Noon Lions Club. 

Special thanks to the East Montgomery County Improvement District for supporting non-profits in the community, including our troop! 

Lake Houston Wilderness Park Campout

In November the scouts camped at Lake Houston Wilderness Park. They did lots of hiking, bike riding, and geocaching. 

Texas State Railroad Camp and Ride

In October, the scouts enjoyed a ride on the Texas State Railroad and camped out near the train station.

Court of Honor

In September the troop held its Court of Honor. Over 60 merit badges were earned and 6 scouts ranked up!

 

Galveston Island State Park Campout

In September the scouts camped at Galveston Island State Park.

 

Fundraising for the year

In August and September, the scouts raised money for their yearly activities by selling popcorn.

Ribbon Cutting at New Peach Creek Elementary

Troop 1013 was honored to conduct the Flag Ceremony at Peach Creek's New Elementary School's Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
